treatment program they need or
provide the therapy to them.  Having
worked in the homes of clients,
correctional centers, schools,
outpatient, residiential,and in the
health care setting, Pat has been able
to understand the many factors that
play a part in the problems and
difficulties of individuals and families.
The mission of Change Is A Choice is to provide the most
effective and client centered treatment to individuals,
couples, and families.

Since Pat has had years of experience, she is able to
quickly assess and discern major problems and provide
effective treatment or specific referrals.  She is a veteran
therapist and has supervised and trained over 200
counselors and therapists.  Because of this, the client is
getting the very best information and help from someone
who knows what they are doing.

Change Is A Choice became into existance because of the
years of frustration experience by Pat working for state
and community organizations where brand new
counselors tried out their techniques on unsuspecting and
vulnerable clients.  Pat began to provide monthly trainings
to all counselors in the area and beyond.  In addition, she
has an excellent approach that walks the narrow line
between unconditional positive regard for the client and
holding the firm therapeutic line that brings about change
rather than enabling or harm to a client.

Because of her vast experience, she has worked with
white collar, blue collar, the working poor, and those in
poverty.  She accepts clients who can't pay as often as she
can.
